Avaya Deploys Managed VPN Solutions ROI Sales Tool Built By Phormion

Tool Designed to Help Service Providers Understand Strong Business Case for VPN Offerings

Lincroft, New Jersey, June 6, 2002 - Phormion Sales Tools (www.phormion.com), an exclusive developer of custom ROI/TCO sales tools for professional sales organizations, announced today that Avaya (NYSE: AV), a leading global provider of voice and data networks and applications to businesses, has deployed one of its ROI sales tools for the Avaya Service Provider Managed Virtual Private Network (VPN) Solution.

The tool has been deployed to support Avaya's professional sales organization as it sells the Service Provider Managed VPN Solution to service provider customers.
