Nastel Reports Superb Results From ROI Sales Tool Field Test

Nastel Technologies Added to Phormion’s
Growing List of ROI Sales Tool Customers

Lincroft, New Jersey, November 29, 2001 - Phormion Sales Tools (www.phormion.com), an exclusive developer of ROI/TCO sales tools for professional sales and marketing organizations, announced today that it has completed an ROI-based sales tool for Nastel Technologies, Inc. (www.nastel.com) after the highly-successful field test of a prototype version of the tool.

“We were really struggling with the quantification of our value proposition when we learned about Phormion and the work they’d done for both large and small companies like us,” noted Ralph Maniscalco, Director of Marketing at Nastel. “But Phormion’s analyst really had a knack for researching and credibly putting numbers to our products’ benefits, especially given that middleware’s value is not always appreciated or easily calculated.”

The tool was refined with real-world data supplied by customers who have already seen a return on their investment with Nastel software. “Every one of the customers we exposed to the tool said that it would have positively impacted their decision to purchase our products, and would have sped their internal approval process ,” added Maniscalco. “Ultimately, that’s what we hired Phormion to do - give Nastel sales people the tools they need to make it as easy as possible for our prospects to make the decision to buy our products.”
