Phormion ROI Sales Tools Improve Direct Mail Response Rate By Factor of 2-3

Phormion Customers Independently Report Similar Direct Mail Results When Free ROI Analysis is Offered as Call to Action

Lincroft, New Jersey, September 22, 2003 - Phormion Sales Tools (www.phormion.com), the ROI/TCO sales tool development company with a 7-year track record, announced today that two of its recent customers have reported vastly improved response rates when their direct mailing offered the use of an ROI tool or independent ROI analysis using Phormion-built tools.

One recent Phormion customer, a Fortune 500 provider of telecommunications solutions, invited approximately 10,000 subscribers to its email newsletter to download its Phormion-built ROI tool to assess the financial benefit of a new enterprise telecommunications product.  Typical call-to-action responses to such newsletter offers are in the 4% range for this Phormion customer, but that response number improved to 10% when the availability of an ROI tool comprised the centerpiece of the offer.

Similarly, another Phormion customer, a provider of security and identity management services, conducted a direct mail campaign in which recipients were invited to join one of their sales representatives for a customized ROI analysis using their Phormion-developed ROI tool.  The company reported a response rate to that direct mail effort approximately 2.5 - 3 times that of previous direct mail efforts.
